The Peace Mark was created in 1958 by an artist at name Gerald Holtom. The symbol was developed for a protest march in London against nuclear weapons. Eventually It became a symbol of all opposition to nuclear weapons and during the 60s and 70s the peace/hippie movements took it further under the quote "Make Love not war" and it then became a peace symbol for the whole world. By wearing a peace sign you show the world that you are against war and FOR peace! This is the largest peace sign, which is 40 mm in diameter. The width of the silver is 5 mm. A solid pea link fits this necklace.
