STIL Silver started on a small scale at Smögenbryggan in 2004. At first, we mostly sold interior design and other brands with jewelry, but during a shopping trip where we happened to meet a relative who is a goldsmith, we were asked if we didn't want to try selling some silver jewelry in our store. All said and done, we met his suppliers and started with a small assortment that he recommended. Our assortment grew and took up an increasing part of our store and we noticed that customers liked our stylish silver jewelry. We took courses in silversmithing and learned about how silver works and we started designing our own jewelry. The relationships with the suppliers developed and we increasingly had the opportunity to buy leftover stocks or small back orders that the large chains had ordered, at a really good price. We also started ordering our own jewelry in larger quantities and got equally good prices on them. This is how the idea of selling silver jewelry at really good prices and not having it locked away in a closed display case was born. We wanted to hang our jewelry openly, so that our customers could look and feel it. The idea was to create a store that would feel like a candy store, but for adults. We started putting jewelry on cake plates, and everywhere there was glittering stones or silver. In 2011, we opened our store in the courtyard of Korsgatan and after a couple of years the entire store was filled only with our stylish jewelry. In addition to the store on Korsgatan, we have also run a summer store at Smögenbryggan and have also had pop-up stores at Frölunda Torg and in Tanum Shopping Center. In June 2024, we closed the store on Korsgatan in Gothenburg, and now it is mainly the webshop that is growing and every week we expand the range on it.

Our business idea is simple. We want to offer the largest selection of genuine silver jewelry, at the best prices. And we want you to feel like you're in a candy store. There should always be something for every taste and you should feel like you can afford to treat yourself to something nice without going broke.
